LoriAmazon

Ms. Fredrics brings 20 years of private and university level teaching experience to the studio. Students have included undergraduate and post graduate level singers, pop and Broadway stage veterans and beginners. Her teaching style is based on the principles of traditional bel canto-Italian for beautiful singing. This technique promotes a healthly, vibrant flexible voice. Singers wishing to achieve a resonant tone suported on the breath will find these techniques helpful in reaching these goals. As far as style is concerned, Lori sings, coaches and understands a diverse variety of music and can help you apply the technique to a wide variety of styles.

BMus in Music Management William Paterson University

MMus in Voice Performance Univerity of Texas at Austin

She has taught singing on faculty at William Paterson University, Texas A&M University, Kingston University of London and has served as an applied music consultant for Brown University of Providence RI.

Jazz singers who would like to aquire a strong healthy technique including breathing, breath support, resonance, range extension to improve the tone of your voice and it's functioning. If you are a professional jazz singer who feels more comfortable in up tempo tunes because ballads expose your voice in less flattering ways, you may wish to explore gaining some assistance from Lori . She is one of the rare experts who understands speech-level snging from th Italian "parlando" basis of bel canto. Have a listen to the sound clips on http://www.auraclemusic.co.uk/ lori_joachim_fredrics.html and decide for yourself whether you think Lori can improve your voice without disturbing your style. Classical singers wishing to explore jazz styles learn how to adjust their technique to encompass a more naturalistic style also assisted.(adapted from www.singing-teachers.co.uk)
